The stay was fantastic! The staff really went above and beyond for my kids, getting them a special note as a keepsake. Our large double room was spacious, and we loved the comfortable sitting area. Can't wait to return for another family adventure!
My kids wished there were blackout blinds in the room for easier naps. It would be great if the hotel could provide some family-friendly dining options after hours.

I had a lovely stay at the White Horse. The location is perfect right in the town center. My room was clean and well-appointed with a comfortable bed. I appreciated the tea and coffee facilities in the room, along with the extra touches like bathrobes. The breakfast was fabulous. I loved the variety provided. parking was a bit of a hassle since there was none on site. The nearby pay and display lots are okay if you arrive during the day, but finding a parking spot can be tricky at night. The staff were friendly, but I did encounter a little slow service during peak dinner hours. It wasn't a major issue, just something to keep in mind if you're in a hurry. I enjoyed my stay and would return again.

we had a great stay at the white horse, super comfy large double room and the location was just spot on for us. the staff were really friendly and professional, made us feel right at home. breakfast was lovely too, loads of choices, definitely recommend the full english! we really enjoyed spending time with our friends who live nearby, was just a perfect getaway for our anniversary.
the only downside was that the room was a bit noisy at times, could hear the street noises outside. also, we had to wait a little longer for our drinks at dinner.

Oh mate, the homemade cakes at the White Horse are an absolute treat, and finding local gems like Mrs Salisbury's Famous Tea Rooms was the cherry on top! Plus, the warm shower and ample fluffy towels made my stay feel right cozy.
Now, on the cheeky side, I trudged back on a rainy night only to find the place looking like a haunted house. Bit of a faff finding the way in, and it overshadowed breakfast, which was a shame.

Just a well-suited match for spending a night in Maldon with incredible value for money. The room was very clean and tidy, and I appreciated the coffee machine with muffins. There’s a night entrance, so you don’t have to walk through the bar to reach the room.

I thoroughly enjoyed the charming old building with its lovely curved staircase and muted cozy paint colors. It was a delight to navigate, and the comfortable seating in the bar area made it so welcoming.
Improved accessibility features for seniors would be beneficial.

Charming atmosphere and friendly staff
I had a delightful stay with a spacious Large Double Room that offered both comfort and historic charm. The breakfast was a highlight, featuring a variety of options including a delicious full English. The staff, notably John and Wendy, were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making me feel right at home. the noise level from the bar below could be bothersome during late night hours.

Super comfy stay!
We had a lovely 1 night stay in a large double room. The bed was huge and the sitting area was cozy. Plus, they had a fab selection of gins at the bar and delicious sharing platters! The only bummer was we could hear some noise from outside, but it didn’t ruin our time. Highly recommend the Sunday roast!
